Epic Games Store is giving away the co-op horror shooter Sker Ritual and the acclaimed mystery Home, while Amazon Prime Gaming members can grab Havendock. Sker Ritual (free from Oct 22)

A round-based co-op survival FPS set on a haunted island, from the creators of Sker Ritual’s spiritual predecessor Maid of Sker. Home (free from Oct 22)

A minimalist pixel-art horror adventure about a man who wakes up in a stranger’s house with no memory of how he got there. Every choice shapes the story — and the ending. Short, atmospheric, and ideal for a single spooky evening. (As announced by Epic; free from October 22.)

High on Life (claim by Oct 28)

The comedy FPS from Squanch Games where your guns literally talk to you. A bounty-hunter campaign across alien worlds with genuinely funny writing — one of the bigger names Epic has given away this month. (Claim deadline October 28, as listed.)

Hue (claim by Oct 28)

A clever puzzle-platformer where you shift the world’s background color to make obstacles appear and disappear. Stylish, relaxing, and a great palette cleanser between horror titles. (Claim deadline October 28, as listed.)

Last chance: RiMS Racing (ends Oct 21)

Today is the final day to claim the motorcycle racing sim RiMS Racing on Epic — it rotates out when the new freebies arrive on October 22. If you haven’t grabbed it yet, do it now.

Amazon Prime Gaming — Free in October

Havendock (claim by Oct 28)

A cozy-but-creepy colony sim where you build a floating settlement and keep your survivors sane. Prime members can claim it through the Amazon Games app. (Claim deadline October 28, as listed.)

Last chance: Wall World 2 (ends Oct 21)

The mining roguelike Wall World 2 leaves Prime Gaming’s free lineup today (October 21). Claim it before the rotation if tower-defense mining is your thing.
